Upcoming Tutor Auditions

Task:

For your Tutor Audition, please prepare a 5 to 7-minute, non-academic lesson.

You will be judged on creativity, teaching style, poise, and adherence to the listed requirements.

Requirements:

Your presentation must be non-academic and include all of the following

• A clear beginning, middle, and end

• Elicited participation

• 5–7 minutes

Considerations:

• The audition will begin promptly as scheduled; please don’t be late.

• Be prepared to present your lesson to a small group.

• You will have access to a whiteboard and markers.

• You may not use electronic presentation media (laptop, projector, etc.).

• This is the first stage of your interview process; please dress to impress.
