Tutor Audition

Santa Barbara Tutoring, LLC is looking for professional tutors to join our team of experts! 

Showcase your teaching skills by presenting a short non-academic lesson. 

Task:

For your Tutor Audition, please prepare a 5 to 7-minute, non-academic lesson.

You'll be judged on creativity, teaching style, poise, and ability to meet the task.

Musts:

To be considered, your presentation must be non-academic and include the following

• A clear beginning, middle, and end

• Elicited participation

• 5–7 minutes

Considerations:

• The audition will begin promptly as scheduled.  Please don’t be late.

• Be prepared to present your lesson (via video conference) to a small group.

• You may use any props you have access to.

• You may NOT use presentation media, such as PowerPoint or Prezi.

• Candidates selected at this stage will be asked to return for a formal interview.
