Tutor Audition

Santa Barbara Tutoring, LLC is looking for professional tutors to join our team! 

Task:

For your Tutor Audition, please prepare a 5 to 7-minute, non-academic lesson.

You'll be judged on creativity, poise, and teaching style.

Musts:

To be considered, your presentation must be at least 5 minutes, no longer than 7 minutes, and include the following

• a non-academic subject matter

• a clear beginning, middle, and end

• elicited participation

Considerations:

• Be prepared to present your lesson (via video conference) to a small group.

• You may use any props you have access to.

• You may NOT use presentation media, such as PowerPoint or Prezi.

• Candidates selected at this stage will be asked to return for a formal interview.
